About.com hires contributing writers and guides. Take a look through the subtopics to see if you find something that interests you.
2) Associated Content
Associated Content enables anyone to publish their content on any topic. It's important to note that they only pay U.S. residents for their work.
3) Elance
At Elance, companies post projects which writers can the bid on. This can sometimes involve a lot of work on behalf of the writer in order to get a successful contract.
This site provides an updated list every day of different positions that are open. The daily updates and content organization make this a great place to start.
5) Genuine Jobs
This site isn't just for writers, but it can have some pretty good leads. One major downside is that the ads on this site can get pretty intrusive after a while.
This website is similar to Elance in the sense that writers can bid on projects. It can take a lot of work at times to land a successful contract.

Helium invites writers to contribute articles on just about any subject. Writers are not paid up-front and instead earn money based how many people view the articles. Writers are not paid out until they reach a minimum of $25.00 USD.

Please remember to use common sense. Work-at-home scams are common, and you don't want to make yourself a target. You should never have to pay to work for a company. They should be paying you. Try to find legitimate companies with a track-record of paying their employees fairly and on-time.
